Payment & Onboarding. After payment, you will receive a secure email invitation to create your portal password and indicate an observer to complete questionnaires on your behalf, if such a person is available.
A care team member will also reach out via phone to welcome you personally and answer any immediate questions.
Document Uploads Once logged in, you can upload any past records or documentation that tell your story. You can add personal notes to each file to provide your own context—an important input we value.
Conversational Interviews At your convenience, complete your self-paced voice interviews online (covering your concerns, strengths, early development, social communication, and current functioning).

Note: Please ensure you are in a quiet, private space where you won't be interrupted.
Observer Input (standardized assessments) While you work on your interviews, we will send a standardized assessment to the observer you identified. You may be asked to complete one or more as well.
Scheduling Your Session Once your interview and the observer forms are complete, you will receive an invitation to schedule your live session with your psychologist at a time that works for you.
Live Clinical Evaluation Join your NeuroClarity Psychologist for an interactive video session. Because your prior work has laid the foundation, this session is maximized for deep clinical insight.

Important: Your clinician may set up a second session at no additional cost. Also, state regulations require you to be physically located in your state of residence during this call.
Results & Report Within days of your live evaluation, your interactive diagnostic report will be available in NeuroClarity's secure portal. It is designed to be in-depth yet digestible, empowering you with clear next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions.
Do you accept Insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider. This means we do not bill insurance directly. However, we provide a comprehensive medical Superbill (receipt) upon completion. Many clients are able to submit this to their insurance provider for partial reimbursement, depending on their out-of-network benefits. We recommend calling your insurance company to ask about coverage for CPT code 90791 (Intake) and 96130/96131 (Testing).
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. Our services are qualified medical expenses. You can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card directly at checkout. Note: If your specific card is declined (some banks restrict online transactions), simply pay with a standard credit card. You can then submit our receipt to your HSA/FSA provider to reimburse yourself immediately
Is this a real medical diagnosis?
Yes. You are being evaluated by a licensed Clinical Psychologist, not a coach or a computer algorithm. Your diagnosis is a formal medical determination recognized by schools, workplaces, and government agencies for accommodations.
Which states do you serve?
We are licensed in New Mexico and under PSYPACT, which allows us to practice in over 40+ states. If your state was selectable in our booking form, we can serve you! You must be physically located in that state during your video sessions.
How long does the process take?
Our streamlined telehealth model allows us to start your intake within days. Most clients receive their final report within 2-3 weeks of their first appointment.
Can I book for a minor?
Yes. Our Clinical Psychologists are highly experienced in evaluating individuals across the lifespan, including children as young as age 2. Please visit our dedicated Child Evaluations page to learn more about the pediatric process.
I don't fit the "stereotype" of autism. Can you still help?
Absolutely. Many adults—especially women—mask their traits or present differently than traditional diagnostic models assume. Our psychologists are specifically trained to identify high-masking presentations and understand how autism manifests in adults with successful careers and relationships.
Do you check for ADHD, Anxiety, or other conditions?
Yes. While our primary focus is Autism, a robust evaluation must look at the whole person. We perform a "differential diagnosis" to explore co-occurring conditions like ADHD, anxiety, or depression. If another condition better explains your experience, we will explain this clearly in your results.
What exactly is included in the final report?
You receive a comprehensive medical document signed by a licensed Clinical Psychologist. It includes:
-
Your official DSM-5-TR diagnosis (if applicable).
-
A summary of your unique strengths and challenges.
-
Detailed accommodation recommendations for work or school.
-
Personalized resources and next steps.
